Longevity Magazine A review journal of healthspan, preventative medicine and ageing

Privacy

Longevity Magazine collects one thing from readers: an email address, and only if you type it into the notice form yourself. This page says what happens to it. It is written in plain terms rather than as a legal notice, and it describes what the journal actually does.

What we hold

What we use it for

To send you two things, and nothing else: a notice when a review's grade changes, with the reason it changed, and a notice when a new review is published. There is no schedule, and if no grade moves in a given month no email is sent that month.

The journal sells nothing, takes no commercial placements and recommends no product or supplier, so nothing you receive from us is a promotion and nothing you receive is on anyone else's behalf. How the journal is funded, and how corrections and competing interests are handled, is set out in full in the editorial policy.

Who it is shared with

Nobody. Your address is not sold, rented, swapped, published or passed to a supplement brand, a clinic, a laboratory, a practitioner or an advertiser. It is not uploaded to any advertising platform and it is not used to build a lookalike or custom audience. The only parties that ever touch it are the hosting and email providers that store and deliver the list on our behalf, and they may not use it for anything of their own.

How long we keep it

For as long as you want the notices. When you stop them the record is deleted rather than flagged as unsubscribed, so there is nothing left to reactivate later. If you have never opened a notice from us in two years we remove you without being asked.

How to have it removed

Every notice carries a link to stop them, and that is enough. You can also write to us through the contact page and ask us to delete the address outright, or to tell you what we hold against it, and we will do it by hand. You do not have to give a reason and we will not ask for one.

Cookies and tracking

We set no advertising or tracking cookies and we run no advertising pixel. If that changes, this page changes with it before the change goes live.

Children

This journal is written for adults reading evidence about their own decisions. The notices are not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly keep an address belonging to a child. If you believe we hold one, write through the contact page and we will delete it.

Changes to this page

If what we do with an address changes, this page is updated and the date here changes with it. Material changes are described in a notice rather than only here. This version is dated 3 October 2026.

Who publishes this journal, and how to reach a person, are on the about page and the contact page.
